Stephanie Oldridge Announced as Deputy Head - Academic

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Stephanie Oldridge as our new Deputy Head - Academic from July 10, 2025

March 2025: Stephanie joins us with a distinguished record of driving transformational change in international schooling, most recently in the Middle East, where she helped elevate a fledgling senior school into a thriving academic community.

With extensive experience in curriculum design, Stephanie has led the development of bespoke programmes that challenge and inspire learners. Her strategic input into admissions and marketing initiatives was instrumental in growing enrollment and raising the institute’s profile. As a PENTA inspector, she brings a rigorous understanding of continuous improvement frameworks and peer-review processes - expertise she will apply to enhance teaching and learning across all departments at Shrewsbury.

Stephanie’s leadership philosophy is rooted in unlocking each pupil’s full potential, balancing academic ambition with personal development. In her new role, she will collaborate with department heads to refine the school curriculum, implement data-informed teaching practices, and expand enrichment opportunities that cultivate creativity, critical thinking and global awareness.

“I am excited about joining Shrewsbury International School India. As the Deputy Head - Academic, my main focus will always be on ensuring that each individual at Shrewsbury flourishes to reach their full potential. We will be providing a wide variety of subjects to help all our pupils nurture their academic interests”, she remarks.
