Programme Overview:
The Shrewsbury India Leadership Programme is an immersive two-week residential experience for pupils in Grades 7–10, combining life on the Shrewsbury India campus in Bhopal with a guided leadership expedition in the Himalayas.
Rooted in the School’s philosophy of Whole Person Education, the programme helps pupils develop the confidence, resilience, and character required to become thoughtful and responsible leaders. Through workshops, teamwork challenges, co-curricular activities, and an expedition experience, pupils build the skills needed to lead with integrity and purpose.

Programme Stucture
WEEK 1
Leadership Residency
Location: Shrewsbury India Campus
Participants live in the boarding houses and take part in leadership workshops, team projects, and co-curricular activities on campus.
WEEK 2
Himalayan Expedition
Location: Manali
Pupils travel to the Himalayas for a guided expedition where they apply leadership principles in real-world conditions and develop resilience, teamwork, and independence.

Programme Leadership
The programme is Lead by Oliver Russell, Deputy Headmaster and Programme Director at Shrewsbury India, supported by the school’s academic and expedition staff.
