Teaching Staff

Shrewsbury International School India is seeking a passionate and highly skilled teacher of Visual Arts to join our founding faculty.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a dynamic Visual Arts department from the ground up, in a school that places creativity and expression at the heart of its educational ethos.

We are looking for a teacher who brings energy, vision and a genuine passion for the Arts, and who is committed to bringing out the best in every pupil. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity and confidence - both in the classroom and beyond it.

The ideal candidate will have an honours degree in Visual Arts or a closely related field, along with a recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching across Key Stages (KS3–KS5). We are looking for someone who is collaborative, enthusiastic and committed to contributing to the school’s rich pastoral and co-curricular life. A proven ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons and a growth-oriented mindset is essential.

Safeguarding and Child Protection

Shrewsbury International School India is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All candidates for roles at the school will undergo thorough child protection screening including checks with the Police.

  • The postholder must comply with the School’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policy at all times.
  • The postholder must undergo safeguarding & Child Protection training as directed by their Line Manager.
  • Appointments will be subject to appropriate police check certification, International Recruits to the school will be required to provide an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC)
