Academics Scholarships

Candidates for these awards sit at the Scholarship Examination in the month of May of their year of entry. They spend two days at the school, and awards are bestowed on the basis of written papers and interviews.

Awards are made on the basis of a personal portfolio, a practical examination in drawing an object or group of objects, and an interview.

Awards are made on the basis of a portfolio of work, an examination designed to test a candidate's ability to design under exam conditions and an interview.

Drama Scholarships

Awards will be made based on the presentation of two short, contrasting monologues, and an interview. Candidates will be asked to provide information on their previous drama experience and the school will also seek a reference from the candidate's current school drama teacher. Drama Scholars will be expected to play a full part in the dramatic life of the school during their time at Shrewsbury International school India

Music Scholarships

Candidates are required to perform on two instruments, or on one instrument and voice. Candidates should normally prepare two contrasting performances. Candidates will be assessed in four equally-weighted areas: two specialist areas selected from Sport, Music, Drama and either Art or DT; an interview with a senior member of school staff; and a C4 Aptitude test along with a short written exercise.
